Clarification concerning the resignation of Ms. Jonella Ligrest

On the request of Consob, following the press release published this morning of the resignation of Ms. Jonella Ligresti as a director of the Company, we wish to clarify the reasons were not outlined in the resignation letter but, as far as we are aware, this is a precautionary measure to avoid any doubts that Ms. Ligresti could find herself in a position of incompatibility, pursuant to Article 36 of Legislative Decree of December 6, 2011, with the directorship She holds in Mediobanca.
