UnipolSai Assicurazioni’s leadership and innovation the central themes of the ads dedicated to the automotive world featuring special guest Alessandro Gassmann

On 29 September 2019, UnipolSai Assicurazioni returns to our screens with a new multimedia advertising campaign “Sempre un passo avanti” - “Always one step ahead”.

With a creative dimension that skilfully combines corporate and product elements, the campaign guarantees customers the possibility of “truly choosing the future” with UnipolSai, Italy’s leading company in the non-life insurance sector and product and service innovation with over 10 million customers and 2500 agencies across Italy.

An important new UnipolSai advertising project fronted by charismatic film star Alessandro Gassmann who adeptly conveys the company’s ability to pre-empt the future, to remain “always one step ahead”: this is the distinctive quality on which the campaign’s creative concept is based, underlining UnipolSai authoritativeness and reliability, as well as its versatile range of innovative solutions and high-tech services.

Featuring scenes of day-to-day mobility, the adverts convey their message using the evocative power of unforeseen scenarios in which Gassmann looks forward and manages to truly envisage the future. The same qualities embodied by UnipolSai and those who every day entrust the company with finding increasingly innovative solutions to their safety and protection requirements. 

With its authoritative and reassuring mood and sophisticated cinematic feel, the campaign focuses on two products dedicated to the automotive world which in 2020 will be joined by new ads dedicated to other UnipolSai insurance innovations.

The two automotive products are:

·         the Unibox car telematics system, the satellite device connected with the KM&Servizi car insurance policy, that offers a series of functionalities including the activation of tow trucks and assistance, if required, and the possibility of adjusting the premium according to driving style;

·         the innovative UnipolSai app, which can be used to manage car data directly from a smartphone or tablet: from the number of km travelled to the journeys made by the car, and through to a whole series of highly sophisticated value-added services available at the push of a button, like the possibility of calling a tow truck or monitoring your journey in real time. 

Devised by the BAM agency and produced by BRW Filmland, under the direction of Matteo Pellegrini and director of photography Paolo Caimi, the campaign will be pushed heavily on TV and radio and in the digital world and the press with content strongly geared to the various media.

Consistent with the quality and innovation of the ads, for the soundtrack UnipolSai has chosen a high-impact and memorable mainstream track from one of the world’s biggest bands: “Whatever it takes” by Imagine Dragons.  

This major advertising project was developed on the basis of the goals and positioning defined by UnipolSai and the entire Unipol Group in its 2019-2021 Strategic Plan, “Mission Evolve”.
