Cavaliere del Lavoro (Order of Merit for Labour) and Commendatore Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic)

With a vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the hotel industry. His professional path started with his family business S.I.N.A. Hotels in 1983, where he held managerial positions, later becoming Chairman, which he still is today.

He was member of the Board of Directors of Findomestic Banca, Deputy Chairman of C.N.E.L. for its 9th Term, Deputy Vice Chairman of Confcommercio and Senator of the Italian Republic in the 17th Legislature.

He is currently:

• Since 2000, National Chairman of FEDERALBERGHI;
• Since 2000, Chairman of TOSCANA UNO S.r.l.;
• Since 2003, Chairman of FORMAT S.c. a r.l.;
• Since 2005, Chairman of F.A.I.A.T. S.r.l.;
• Since 2019, Director of Fondazione Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze;
• Since 2019, Director of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino;
• Since 2022, Director of UnipolSai Assicurazioni S.p.A.
