The present communication concerns the resolution adopted by the Boards of Directors of Unipol Gruppo Finanziario and Unipol Assicurazioni announced to the market this afternoon in relation to the proposed merger with the Fondiaria SAI S.p.A. Group. The Board of Directors of Milano Assicurazioni S.p.A., meeting this evening under the chairmanship of Angelo Casò, noted this announcement and – in order to carry out the necessary analysis of the economic conditions approved by the Unipol Group and also in light of the Fondiaria-SAI S.p.A. announcement – postponed its meeting until Friday, April 20, 2012.
